Background
Vera Private Labels helps entrepreneurs, retailers and restaurants launch their own pasta, sauce, or olive oil and vinegar brand in 30 days, with low minimums and custom packaging. The line covers 13 bronze-die pasta shapes, 3 sauces and 12 oils and vinegars, all made in the USA.
It's the private-label side of Vera Pasta, a longtime client. Private label had been a single page on verapasta.com, and owner Joe D'Andrea wanted a dedicated site built to turn visitors into new brand partners.
Objectives
Goals for veraprivatelabels.com:
- Give private label its own home, separate from the retail store
- Show every product a partner can put their name on
- Turn interest into qualified quote requests and booked calls
- Capture leads with a free sample catalog
- Point Vera Pasta's existing visitors to the new site
Challenges
Private label is a B2B sale with a longer path to yes, so the site had to explain the program clearly and give visitors several low-pressure ways to take the next step.
The offer also evolved during the build, so the catalog and quote flow had to be flexible enough to change with it.
Discovery & Planning
We started from a reference site Joe liked and mapped the journey of a would-be brand owner: see the products, understand the program and pricing, then start a project.

Design Phase
The design pairs Vera's bold red branding with clean product photography and a direct headline: launch your own pasta, sauce, or olive oil and vinegar brand in 30 days. The home page has since been redesigned to lead visitors straight into the program.
Product Catalog
A WooCommerce catalog lists every private-label product, from bronze-die pastas to sauces, olive oils and vinegars, so partners can browse the full range before they reach out.

Get Started
A multi-step Get Started flow lets visitors pick the products they're interested in and book a call straight into Joe's calendar. A welcome popup offers the sample catalog in exchange for an email, and a popup on verapasta.com sends interested shoppers to the new site.
Launch & Growth
We kicked off in December 2024 and launched in July 2025. Since then we've redesigned the home page and added appointment booking, proposals, design briefs, program pricing, a blog and SEO work, and we host and support the site.
