We don't collect your data
RearSign has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We don't run servers for the app, so nothing you do in RearSign is sent to us.
What stays on your iPhone
Your messages, saved messages, settings, and the Bluetooth identifier of the sign you paired. These are stored only on your device (shared with RearSign's own widget on the same device) and are deleted when you delete the app.
Bluetooth
RearSign uses Bluetooth only to connect to your LED sign and send it what to display.
Purchases
RearSign Pro is purchased through Apple. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details or Apple Account information.
Siri and Shortcuts
If you use Siri or Shortcuts with RearSign, Apple processes your request under Apple's privacy policy. The text you dictate is sent only to your sign.
Children
RearSign doesn't collect information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its effective date.
